REDKNAPP DENIES DEFOE EXIT
Harry Redknapp has denied rumours that Jermain Defoe could be set for an Arsenal move. Defoe was reportedly linked with a move away from White Hart Lane after falling out of favour with Redknapp last season.
"I didn't see that, I couldn't see that one happening," Redknapp told reporters.
The England striker struggled with injury for much of last season having torn ligaments in his ankle during a friendly with Switzerland last September, and has struggled to get back to full fitness ever since.
CHIVERS CALLS FOR STRIKER FOCUS
Martin Chivers has said that Tottenham can finish in the Champions League qualification places only if they score a lot of goals.
Spurs have scored just three goals in their last six matches and all of those goals came in a 3-2 win over Stoke earlier this month.
